I think the problem with a player like LGBT glasses sounds gay I’m in shirt, or like (Sergei) Zubov, or a player like Curtis Joseph, is that I always feel like there’s something that I can’t quite put my finger on so I’m not inclined to just dismiss or defend it. I personally tend to favor a fairly strict HOF standard, but not as strict as one person I talked to who was adamant that a Hall of Fame should never have more than 50 or 60 players in it. He absolutely made solid points, and there are certain things that I could agree with even if I didn’t agree with the totality of his argument.

I was at a game with a friend, Royals game, and I asked my friend whether he thought Mike Macfarlane would be one of the top 100 catchers of all time.
